(1) JS-3068 features a high boiling point, low toxicity, and a mild odor. It effectively controls solvent evaporation rate, appropriately extending the drying process of solvent-based coatings while maintaining an open, leveling state on the film surface. This prevents defects such as brush marks, orange peel, and pinholes caused by excessively rapid solvent evaporation and viscosity build-up in air-drying paints. In nitrocellulose lacquers, it prevents film blushing under high temperature and high humidity conditions. As an excellent solvent for solvent-based resins and a heat-resistant silicone additive, it exhibits virtually no thermal decomposition below 230°C. During recoating of baking systems, it prevents loss of adhesion, surface defects, surface shrinkage, pinholes, and bubbling phenomena caused by binder instability or rapid solvent evaporation.

(2) JS-3078 is a silicone additive that remains stable at baking temperatures up to 250°C. It slightly reduces the surface tension of the coating film, enhancing leveling and gloss, improving surface slip, and providing defoaming properties. It is recoatable without affecting adhesion.

(3) JS-3088 is a high-temperature-resistant silicone additive capable of withstanding temperatures up to 260°C. It is recoatable without affecting intercoat adhesion. In wood and furniture coatings, it is suitable for matte finish paints and matting agent orientation in multi-layer coating systems. It can also be used in high-solids polyurethane, acid-cured, and unsaturated polyester coatings. In other industrial coatings, it aids in the orientation of matting agents and aluminum pigments in metallic flash paints.

 

Scope of Application:

JS-3068 is suitable for solvent-based air-drying paints and various baking enamels. Particularly recommended for: coil coatings, metal coatings, nitrocellulose lacquers, automotive refinish paints, and industrial paints.

JS-3078 is suitable for solvent-based air-drying paints and various baking enamels. Particularly recommended for: automotive refinish paints, nitrocellulose lacquers, coil coatings, metal coatings, and industrial paints.

JS-3088 is suitable for solvent-based air-drying paints and various baking enamels. Particularly recommended for: high-temperature baking enamels, automotive refinish paints, coil coatings, and metal coatings.

 

Dosage and Usage: Recommended dosage is 1%-5% of the total formulation weight. It can be added at any stage of the production process.
