4. Applications

Used as a softening agent, lubricant, solubilizer, and emulsifier in cosmetic production, for manufacturing astringent creams and astringent lotions. OV-3 is used as a solubilizer for brominated acids in the production of lipsticks and liquid balms, and can also be used in formulating bubble baths, shampoos, cold wave lotions, depilatories, and hair straighteners. This product can also serve as an oil-soluble spreading agent. It forms transparent gels when formulated with mineral oil, isopropyl esters, refined oleyl alcohol, and water. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is mainly used as an emulsifier, lubricant, and solubilizer in the manufacture of emulsions and creams.

5. Packaging and Storage

Packed in iron or plastic drums, with a net weight of 200kg or 50kg per drum. Handle with care during transportation — load and unload gently, protect from rain. Store in a cool, ventilated, and dry place. Shelf life: 1 year. After one year, the product may still be used if it passes re-inspection.
